Client Profiles Introduces AutoRoute Barcode Module for eRouter

Client Profiles today announced the availability of AutoRoute, a barcode cover-sheet add-on module for its eRouter imaging & scanning solution which integrates with CP’s flagship Case Management application.

The eRouter Bar Code module allows case management users to scan documents and automatically file them to the appropriate case or matter within the Client Profiles Case Management application.

First, users will create a routing sheet to be used when scanning their documents. From within Client Profiles, the user is able to generate a bar-coded cover sheet for a specific case, including specific document profile information. Once the completed routing sheet is printed, future documents in need of scanning are simply accompanied by the corresponding cover sheet and scanned at any eRouter Scan Station. eRouter automatically reads the cover sheet and stores the document in the case specified. The routing sheet can then be retained and reused on future documents.

“The cover-sheet bar code functionality, added to the eRouter scanning application, significantly increases user productivity, and adds to the already strong return on investment by bringing firms closer to a paperless and more collaborative environment,” said Richard Natrillo, Vice President, Scanning and Imaging Division. “Furthermore, accurate routing of documents through this technology provides firms with the benefit of reduced errors in the filing of critical information related to a case or matter.”
